Deputies: Burdett woman accused of damaging, stealing political signs

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a 62-year-old Burdett woman following an investigation into damaged and missingg political signs.

The signs in question were located in the Town of Hector, according to investigators.

Deputies say Amanda F. Creighton, 62, of Burdett was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny after receiving reports of damaged and missing political signs.

Creighton was issued tickets and will answer the charges at a later date in Hector Town Court.
