The following was released to the media regarding monthly activity by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office. The monthly report is republished, and authored by Sheriff Tim Luce and Undersheriff John Cleere.

LAW ENFORCEMENT:

Total Calls For Service: 1030

Total Arrests: 63

NARCO:

Total new drug cases: 7

Total arrests: 6

CORRECTIONS:

Average Number of Inmates: 93

Monthly Total Made for Boarding In: $52,274.62, Yearly Total: $508,243.24

CIVIL:

Total Summons/Complaints/Services: 58

Total Income Executions: 15

Total Evictions: 5

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:

November 1st: The Narco Unit executed a search warrant at a Town of Seneca Falls residence. A subject was arrested on multiple felonies for possessing and selling cocaine.

November 14th: A man creating a disturbance at the Del Lago Casino resisted arrest and was apprehended with an unregistered, loaded hand gun. No one was injured.

November 27th: The Sheriff’s Office hosted training for Police Officers on P.T.S.D. and handling stress.

November 29th: Investigators completed training in Human Trafficking.

November 30th: The Sheriff’s Office completed its first Citizen’s Police Academy.

November 2017: Three fugitives from justice were tracked down and apprehended this month: a deserter from the army, a man wanted for robbery out of Texas and a man wanted for burglaries out of Florida.

November 2017: Deputies and Corrections Officers participated in “No Shave November”. Money was raised for the new Child Advocacy Center in Waterloo and the Golisano’s Children’s Hospital.
