Teens charged with assault in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department says two teens were charged with assault and conspiracy after a physical altercation on Mechanic Street.

Police say two 13- and 14-year-old females were charged with third-degree assault and sixth-degree conspiracy. Both of the charges are misdemeanors, according to police.

The charges stem from an incident, which is being described as a physical altercation with another female victim, who sustained a concussion. Both were issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.

The teens will appear at the Seneca County Probation Office at a later date and time.
