Sheriff: Seneca Falls man charged with possessing, selling controlled substance

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on December 5th at approximately 10:45 am, the Narcotics Unit arrested a Seneca Falls man on felony charges in Waterloo.

Robert J. Stevens, 45, was charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, both Class D felonies.



It is alleged that Stevens sold Alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax) while in the Village of Waterloo.

Stevens was arraigned at the Town of Waterloo Court where he was committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 secured bond.
