The Bristol Mountain ski resort reopened Tuesday, inviting intermediate- and advanced-level skiers and snowboarders to hit the Upper and Lower Rocket trails and the Comet Express lift.
The 9 a.m. reopening came after the resort first opened the season on Nov. 11, its earliest start ever.
“We were able to sneak in six days of fun skiing and snowboarding beginning on Nov. 11 for the earliest opening since 1991,” Drew Broderick, sales and marketing director, stated in a news release. “There is a winter advisory in effect from 10 p.m. Monday night through 1 p.m. on Wednesday, so our guests will be very excited to have some natural powder to play on. Winter is officially here for all of the snowsports enthusiasts in the Rochester and Finger Lakes Region.”
