10-year-old Palmyra boy brings gifts to homeless shelter

A Palmyra boy is going above and beyond to help the homeless this holiday season.

Ten-year-old Peter Mastowski stopped by REACH Advocacy Home on North Union Street Monday morning.

REACH is a group that helps homeless people in the Rochester area. There he handed out 55 gift bags and 30 blankets to guests at the home.

Peter says he was inspired to give after taking a trip to New York City.

“I just saw a lot of homeless people on the street and… it didn’t make me feel good so a couple years later, today, I decided I’m going to help the homeless,” Peter tells us.
