Rochester pair arrested after Junius shoplifting incident

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on December 14th at approximately 1:05 pm deputies arrested two individuals after a Junius incident.

Mackenzie C. McFarland, 24, of Rochester was charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of burglar’s tools.

It is alleged McFarland stole property from a Junius business.

She was arraigned in the Town of Junius court and remanded to the Seneca County jail in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 secure bond.

Macfarland is due back to the Junius Court December 21st at 7 pm to answer to the charges.



Deputies also arrested Laquanda S. Harrinton, 28, of Rochester during the same incident.

Harrington was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and possession of burglar’s tools.

It is alleged Harrington stole property from a Junius business. Mcfarland was arraigned in the Town of Junius court and remanded to the Seneca County jail in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 secure bond.

Harrington is due back to the Junius Court 01/18/18 at 7pm to answer to the charges.
