Women’s Hall of Fame seeking bids for first floor work at new home

The conversion of the first floor of the former Seneca Knitting Mill into a modern space to honor the 276 inductees into the National Women’s Hall of Fame is moving forward.

The Hall of Fame is seeking sealed bids for the Hall’s Center for Great Women First Floor Occupancy Project.

The bids will be received until 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Hall of Fame’s current home at 76 Fall St. At that time, the bids will be opened and read aloud.

The first floor project, called Phase 3, includes this scope of work:

• Renovations to the 1844 limestone Seneca Knitting Mill Building first floor interior.
