Farmington home ‘heavily damaged’ after fire on Saturday

Multiple agencies responded to a fire in Farmington Saturday night, including the Victor Volunteer Fire Department, which was in the middle of its ‘Santa on a Truck’ event.

According to the Farmington Volunteer Fire Association, the structure fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. on Dale Drive.



The Victor Fire Department was in the Gypsum Mills neighborhood when the call went out and was able to get on scene within two minutes.

The Farmington Fire Department says had the Victor crew not been so close, the structure would have been a total loss. The kitchen and the living room were heavily damaged in the fire.
