Geneva man faces felony weapon charge, plus others in Watkins Glen

The Watkins Glen Police Department reports the arrest of a Geneva man following a traffic stop. As result of the stop, which was initiated due to illegally tinted windows — the driver now faces multiple charges, including two felonies.

Pedro J. Burgos, 30, of Geneva was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and illegal window tint.



Both the stolen property and firearm charges are felonies.

The traffic stop took place on December 28th in Watkins Glen, and all of the charges will be answered in Watkins Glen Village Court.
