Victor Supervisor Jack Marren didn’t have much to say Thursday about the issues and challenges facing Ontario County in the new year — yet.
But shortly after he was elected unanimously as chairman of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors, Marren said he will have more to say in three weeks, when the board again meets.
That’s when he said he plans to give what he calls a State of the County address to fellow supervisors. But Marren did say Thursday during the board’s organizational meeting that he was thankful for the support of his fellow supervisors on being named chairman again.
Marren, who has served nine years as Victor supervisor, has been board chairman since 2013.
