An incident on Thursday in the City of Geneva has resulted in charges for an unnamed suspect after cinder blocks were thrown at vehicles near the intersection of Castle Street and Dorchester Avenue.
The situation unfolded a little after 2 pm when authorities received a complaint of a disturbance in that neighborhood.
Geneva Police Chief Jeff Trickler told the Finger Lakes Times on Friday multiple attempts were made at calming the individual. “Officers mad several attempts to calm the highly intoxicated male down, but he became increasingly aggressive toward officers, acting in a violent manner,” Trickler told the FLT.
The suspect will be arraigned on resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and second-degree harassment charges.
Finger Lakes Ambulance assisted at the scene, and the suspect was transported to Geneva General Hospital for treatment.
