Police seek public’s assistance after armed robbery at Geneva liquor store

On Friday at approximately 8:46 p.m. members of the Geneva Police Department responded to Saglimbeni Liquor Store located on East North Street for a reported armed robbery.

Upon investigation it was determined that a white male, wearing a ski mask entered the store, displayed what appeared to be a handgun — and demanded money from the staff.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken by the male, who then fled the scene.

An investigation is underway into the burglary.
