Rochester man charged with felonies after Seneca County burglary

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce reports the arrest of a 32-year-old Rochester resident on burglary charges after a lengthy investigation into a Varick incident.

Tyler J. Kurlas, 32, of Rochester was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny after an investigation into an incident in Varick where he entered a home and stole over $1,000 in property.

The occupants of the home were not present at the time of the incident.

Luce says Curls was arraigned in Varick Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 secured bond.
