Chain reaction crash in Canandaigua ties up traffic

At least one person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital following an accident in downtown Canandaigua.

Police and firefighters were on-scene of a four-vehicle, chain reaction crash at the intersection of South Main and Bristol streets. The crash was in the left lane of the southbound side — and was causing minor delays.

Canandaigua Emergency Squad responded to the accident.

It’s unclear what other agencies were on-scene.
