Geneva woman arrested on felony charges after domestic incident in Seneca Falls

On May 5th at 8:00 p.m. the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 55-year-old Geneva resident following a domestic incident.

Fairy D. Devereaux, 55, of Geneva was arrested after police were called to a verbal argument at an apartment complex between a male and female. While investigating the incident police learned of an order of protection, which restricted Devereaux from being around the male.

She was arrested for violating the order of protection and charged with criminal contempt in the first degree and aggravated family offense, both felonies.

Devereaux was arraigned in the Town of Tyre Court where she was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. She will be held there in lieu of $500 cash bail, according to police.

She is scheduled to re-appear in court on May 8th at 4:30 p.m.
