Ground broken for new Farmington Dental office

In case anyone was wondering why all that earth is being moved off Route 332 near Farmbrook Drive, here’s why.

The site will be the future home of Farmington Dental, which may open as soon as October.

Dr. Alicia Sturn purchased the practice of Dr. Leonard Muscarella about a year ago, and is building new.

The plan is to start with just herself in the general dentistry practice.

“But it’s big enough for growth in the future,” Sturn said.

The six-acre site also includes three more lots that are be marketed, said her husband, Dr. Scott Wilbur.

Costich Engineering and Chrisanntha Construction are handling the project and joined Sturn and family — including daughters Gracie and Riley — for a ground-breaking ceremony Friday.
