The accident happened during the late-afternoon hours and when firefighters were called to the scene — one person was entrapped.

Throop Fire Department, Port Byron Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance were called to the scene on Centerport Road near Mills Road.

LifeNet was called to the scene, as well, to transport the driver to the hospital.
