CCE Ontario crowns 2018-19 dairy princess

Hailey Pipher, the 2018-19 New York state dairy princess, attended the 47th Ontario County Dairy Princess Court Pageant at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County in Canandaigua.

Pipher shared a message from the American Dairy Association North East and the dairy industry. Lindsey Weykman served as master of ceremonies. Judges were Matthew Sweeney, Rebecca Stone and Sara Tuthill.

Members of the 2018-19 Dairy Princess Court are Corrine Brown, princess; Rachel Rouland, Molly Mueller and Elizabeth Masland, alternate dairy princesses; Abby Rouland, Holly Fellows, Sayje Hinkle, Emma Jacobson and Grace Maslyn, dairy ambassadors; and Alaina Davies, Alexa Davies and Paige Jacobson, junior dairy ambassadors.

Brown, of Clifton Springs, is the daughter of Calvin and Krista Brown. The Midlakes High School junior is active in French Honor Society, soccer, basketball, Midlakes Athletic Leadership Organization, track and field and French Club. She is a member of 4-H and Junior Dairy Leaders. Brown said she wants to be the dairy princess to spread knowledge and promote the importance of the dairy industry. Her future plans include attending Cornell University in Ithaca and becoming a large animal veterinarian or calf specialist.
