Man arrested twice in same day after pair of Seneca Falls domestic incidents

On Sunday around 10:01 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 35-year-old Greece resident following a domestic incident.

James R. Calaci, 35, of Greece allegedly restrained and pushed a female victim who was trying to contact the police for assistance during an argument. He was charged with unlawful imprisonment and harassment.

Police say Calaci was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail. They also say an order of protection was issued at the time.

Later that day police were called back to the original location. Calaci had returned and again, subjected the female victim to unwanted physical contact, violating the order of protection that was issued after the first incident.

He was arrested again by police and charged with criminal contempt in the second degree and harassment in the second degree.

Calaci was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,000 cash bail.
