Two new members are sitting on the Canandaigua City School District Board of Education.
At is annual re-organizational meeting Monday, the board welcomed Megan Personale, who was elected in May to fill a seat vacated by Thomas Reho, who did not seek re-election; and Joe Delforte, who was appointed just before being sworn in.
Delforte replaces Ralph Undercoffler, who announced last month he would be leaving the board because he is moving out of state.
Delforte actually served on the board previously, opting not to seek re-election a year ago.
Board member John Polimeni, who has served on the board since 2006, was re-elected in May and began a new five-year term as of Sunday.
The board also unanimously re-elected Jeanie Grimm as its president and Cheryl Birx as its its vice president.
Personale, who is new to the board, is a caseworker with the Ontario County Department of Social Services who has worked closely with the school district on child protective and other matters on a regular basis during her career.
