The Hobart College football team dominated the 111th contest against the University of Rochester, retaining the Centennial Cup by a score of 52-7 on Boswell Field at David J Urick Stadium. The Statesmen rushed for a season-high 280 yards, handing off to 10 different ball carriers on the day.
Junior Brian Haeffner and sophomore Alex Milliken shared game-high honors, running for 81 yards and a TD each. First-year Dante Kimbrough ran for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns. First-year quarterback David Krewson made his first start for the Statesmen, completing five passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns. Junior wide receiver Ray Conley was the only Statesman with more than one catch on the day. He finished with two receptions for a game-high 62 yards and a TD.
