Two days after Syracuse football came back to beat North Carolina 40-37 in double overtime behind redshirt freshman quarterback Tommy DeVito, head coach Dino Babers took to the podium once again on Monday.
And once again, few newsworthy details were shared about SU’s quarterback situation. While senior Eric Dungey was listed atop the depth chart — those listings are generally reflective of the team’s previous lineup — Babers declined to share how he viewed the two signal-callers’ standing, including whether he had even settled on a starter for SU’s game against No. 22 North Carolina State on Saturday at 7 p.m.
