Syracuse starts hoops campaign ranked #16

The Syracuse men’s basketball team grabbed the 16th spot in the Associated Press Preseason Poll announced on Monday afternoon.

Kansas took the top spot in the ranking, with 37 first-place votes, followed by Kentucky (19 first-place nods).

The Orange were one of seven ACC programs in the poll. In addition to Syracuse, Duke (4th), Virginia (5th), North Carolina (8th), Virginia Tech (15th), Florida State (17th), and Clemson (22nd).

Syracuse opens their exhibition portion of the schedule on Thursday, October 25, against the College of St. Rose at 7:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Read More
