Deputies: One sent to Strong after car collides with tractor-trailer in Wayne County

Deputies report that a two-car accident on State Route 104 in Ontario, near a local Fastrac – resulted in one person being transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Casen T. Lange, 23, of Wolcott was westbound on Route 104 – when he struck a tractor-trailer from behind. The truck was operated by 27-year-old Carl F. Barnett, who was attempting to turn right into the Fastrac gas station.



As result, Lange was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Deputies determined that Lange had been following too closely, which resulted in the accident. He was cited for following too closely.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Ontario Fire Department and Ontario Ambulance.
