Victor looks to down Irondequoit in high-stakes rematch

The first time Victor (7-2) and Irondequoit (9-0) faced off in Week 4, it was a Sunday night classic with Freddy June Jr. scoring a last-minute touchdown to put the Eagles on top 28-21.

The first battle was a matchup of two top-10 teams in the state, but the second time will have even more on the line as both vie for the Class A championship at 7 p.m. Friday at The College at Brockport.

Both enter the title game playing some of their best ball as Irondequoit’s defense suffocated East in the semifinals. Victor has blown out Eastridge and Canandaigua in the first two round of sectionals.
