According to school officials, no students were injured after a bus slid off an area roadway around 6:35 a.m. on Wednesday.
Neither the driver, nor the four North Street School students on-board were injured.
The accident happened after hitting a patch of ice on Billsboro Road near State Route 14. The bus was traveling east and briefly went off the road; and came to rest back on the roadway.
New York State Police responded to the scene and a school district nurse checked students on site before they were transported to school.
The students included one second grader and three fourth graders. Officials say parents and guardians were notified and the students were cleared to continue with their regular school day.
The school bus was not damaged.
