Deputies: Man charged with felony DWI, assault after domestic incident in Canandaigua

Deputies say that a Syracuse driver was charged with felony DWI and assault following a domestic incident in the Town of Canandaigua.

On Wednesday around 1:04 a.m. deputies responded to an address on Conifer Drive for the report of a domestic incident.

Upon investigation, Mitchell T. Trapasso, 34, of Syracuse was charged with assault and felony driving while intoxicated.

Deputies say he was transported to the Ontario County Jail without incident.

The charges will be answered at a later date in Canandaigua Town Court, according to deputies.
