Section V girls lacrosse: 50 players to watch this season

While more than half of the 2018 Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Girls Lacrosse Team graduated, there is a serious amount of talent back in Section V.

Fairport junior Morgan Schwab was invited to train with the United States Under-19 women’s team last January. Spencerport senior Erin Coykendall, who has signed a letter of intent to play with seven-time NCAA national champion Northwestern, was named MaxPreps National Athlete of the Year.

Penfield senior Morgan Cox, the 2018 Monroe County Division I Player of the Year, scored the game-winning goal that put the Patriots into the Class A state final. Emma Arnold, a senior at Class D Palmyra-Macedon, was named an All-American by US Lacrosse.
