Troopers: Search for suspect in Farmington robbery

State police are searching for the suspect accused of robbing a 7-11 store in Farmington early Saturday morning.

Troopers say the man walked into the store on State Route 332 near Rt. 96 and passed a note to the clerk. The suspect left the store with approximately $40 to $60 and two packs of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 25 and 35 and between 5’3″ and 5’6″ tall with brown hair and facial hair. He is also believed to have a tattoo on the back of his left hand and possibly finger tattoos.

He was wearing a black hoodie with a Nike symbol on left chest and a white or grey shirt under the hoodie, black shorts with white stripe running from backside to outer leg seam, and black sneakers with white laces.
