Woodstock 50 is still without a venue but on Thursday, we learned more about why they lost their location at Watkins Glen International.
The event is expected to cost festival organizers roughly $70 million but, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal, the venue dropped them over a missed payment of $150,000 to the racetrack.
That’s written in an email to Woodstock 50 and its former financial partner Dentsu.
On Monday, news officially broke that the racetrack had dropped the festival and organizers were forced to find an alternate location.
Since then, and on top of a series of setbacks, organizers are still determined to make the event happen.
