Change is coming to the Auburn Wegmans.
The grocery store located in downtown Auburn will stop being open 24 hours a day beginning July 15th, according to The Citizen in Auburn.
The new hours will be 6 a.m. to midnight.

Management said the change “allows us to better align our resources with the times when the majority of customers shop,” The Citizen reported.
Other grocery stores have been reducing hours of operation. Some within the industry say that it’s a move to trim down on operational and manpower costs associated with large, sprawling grocery stores.
