Auburn business back open on Monday after weekend fire

An Auburn manufacturing business where an industrial oven fire took place Saturday was “fully functioning” by Monday morning, its local manager said.

The Auburn Fire Department received a call for a fire alarm activation at electrical equipment distributor AAI Power-Flo Technologies, at 70 Wright Circle, early Saturday morning. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Fritz said later that day that firefighters had found “smoke pushing out of every area it could find its way out of.” The interior was full of heavy smoke from a fire in an appliance that the fire department called a furnace, which firefighters extinguished in minutes, Fritz said.
