The former Orange quarterback helped cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the DraftKings Sportsbook Lounge at del Lago Resort & Casino.
Sports gambling has grown across New York State after a recent bill was passed in Albany, allowing sportsbook lounges to open at casinos across the Empire State.
We’ve already seen sportsbook lounges open at Turning Stone Resort-Casino, along with Point Place in Bridgeport.
A sportsbook lounge is on its way to Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango as well.
It may just be the fastest growing part of American casinos, arriving close to home at the now each and every one in Central New York.
Sportsbook opens at del Lago Resort & Casino
DraftKings Inc. and del Lago Resort & Casino announced today the opening of the DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago, the company’s third retail sportsbook location in the U.S. The 6,000 square-foot space will offer sports fans a state of the art and innovative, high-tech retail sports betting experience complete with betting kiosks and LED video screens.

The new DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago, located on the casino floor near the entrance to The Vine Showroom, features state-of-the-art technology that will enhance the overall betting experience. Sporting events will be shown live, across more than 1,000 square feet of LED video screens, including 16 single bay TV sets, odds boards and a scrolling ticker that will show live score updates, stats, injury news and additional player information. Furthermore, the space will include a full-service bar and restaurant with menu options that feature appetizers ranging from chicken tenders and wings to flat bread pizzas and a number of main dishes like burgers, pulled pork sliders, salads and more. Bettors at the DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago will have the ability to place a variety of wagers, including live/in-play bets at the five ticket windows or 23 self-service betting kiosks.

Sports bettors in New York will be able to place bets on all major professional U.S. Sports, including: NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, PGA, NASCAR and much more seven days a week between 10:00AM and 1:00AM.
Currently, New York gaming regulations prohibit bets on amateur athletics for teams located in the state along with any amateur athletic events taking place in New York.
Existing New York law does not permit customers to use mobile devices to place wagers. Still, customers are encouraged to download the DraftKings Sportsbook app on Android and IOS devices to view the latest offerings and content.
