Police: Seneca Falls man violated protective order by sending multiple text messages

Police say that a Seneca Falls man violated a stay away order of protection by sending text messages to a protected party during the month of September.

Brandon Ferris, 26, of Seneca Falls was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. He’s accused of contacting the protected party via text messages on several occasions.

He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.

The charges will be answered in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
