The Leapfrog Group has released new grades for area-hospitals – an effort that has been ongoing since 2012. They assign letter grades to hospitals based on 28 patient safety measures. Leapfrog contends that those measures indicate how well patients are protected from things like preventable injuries, infections, and more.
