Deputies: Savannah man charged with assault, criminal contempt after domestic incident

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 24-year-old Savannah resident following an investigation into a domestic incident in Clyde.

Deputies say Patrick Goodell, 24, of Savannah was charged with criminal contempt and assault after allegedly violating a protective order.

He’s accused of injuring a person during the domestic incident. Goodell was transported to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
