Lt. Governor Hochul speaks in Auburn, gives 2020 forecast as legislative session begins

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul was in Auburn on Monday touting the 2020 State of the State agenda.

Lt. Gov. Hochul spoke at the Equal Rights Heritage Center, outlining a long list of proposals that Gov. Cuomo announced last week, and over the course of the last month.

Despite a projected $6.1 billion budget deficit – cuts were not a significant part of the spending plan.

Hochul addressed ‘fear mongering’ associated with bail reform measures, but noted that Gov. Cuomo is willing to take a second look at the legislation.
