Deputies: Waterloo man stole Go Kart, later sold it as his own in Seneca County

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a theft investigation that started on January 15th in Romulus.

Deputies say that Timothy Tandle, 37, of Waterloo stole a Go Kart from a residence in the town of Romulus, then attempted to sell the stolen property to another person in Lodi.

Deputies recovered the Go Kart after the buyer of it spotted a posting on Facebook indicating that the same model had been stolen days earlier.

Deputies impounded the property and located the owner, who also reported it stolen to authorities.

Several interviews were conducted, and Tandle was charged with petit larceny. He was released with an appearance ticket.
