Gordmans stores in Geneva, Penn Yan, and Newark will have Amazon Counter

Some Peebles locations, which will become Gordmans stores next month – are going to get more than a facelift.

Officials say that five stores will open in the Rochester-area, and in the Finger Lakes – locations in Geneva, Newark, and Penn Yan will serve in place of Peebles.

Goldman’s offers home décor and clothing items that are priced lower than traditional department stores.

The stores will also offer an Amazon Counter, for pick-up and shipping. At this point, only select Kohl’s locations have this feature.

Stage, the company that owns Gordmans, is converting more than 500 stores across the U.S. to Gordmans stores. Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles, and Stage stores will all be changed over to Gordmans.
