The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 59-year-old Canandaigua resident was taken into custody after he failed to report income to social services.

Brett Johnson, 59, of Canandaigua was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.

He’s accused of failing to report income, which resulted in $1,593 in public assistance being distributed to him illegally.
