Police: Seneca Falls man accused of forging check

Police say a Seneca Falls man was arrested on a forgery charge after he manipulated a check that didn’t belong to him.

Michael Fenton, 28, of Seneca Falls was charged with third-degree forgery, and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

He’s accused of taking a check belonging to another person and writing it out to himself. The check was valued at $100.

Police say the incident occurred on January 15th.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
