Deputies: Savannah man arrested on felony charge after domestic incident

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Savannah man following an investigation into a domestic incident.

Patrick Goodell, 24, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and third-degree assault.

Goodell is accused of violating a protective order by intentionally injuring another person protected by the order.

Additional details about the incident were not released by authorities.

Deputies say Goodell was transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
