“Open Barn” at Muranda Cheese Company

The Muranda Cheese Company is having an “OPEN BARN” event to celebrate the restoration of their 1891 barn that is now available to rent for weddings, parties and other events. The barn was built by the Pratt brothers of Waterloo, NY. It was owned by Lynn Shaffer. The Reginald barn was used as a dairy and breeding facility for neighboring farms. The original bullpens still stand in the basement. They milked approximately 30 cows. The celebration begins Friday, June 23rd…

It begins at 3:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary (confessions will be heard during the Rosary). Benediction will be at 4:00 p.m., and Holy Mass at 4:15 p.m. with Mass Celebrant Rev. Paul Bonacci. Prayers for healing will follow the Mass. The anniversary celebration is sponsored by the Queen of Peace Apostolate.
