UPDATE: Thousands without power in Auburn-area Wednesday evening

Thousands were without power around Auburn as of 8 p.m. Reports began circulating around 7:30 p.m. that locations along the Arterial in Cayuga County — starting in the City of Auburn were without power. Police: Children facing felony charges for putting large rocks in Brutus road

Three Weedsport children between the ages of 11 and 14 are facing felony charges for allegedly putting large rocks in a road that damaged multiple vehicles. The Brutus man, who was removed from the residential fire that happened on Thursday has died. New York State Police have identified the 57-year-old Auburn woman who was killed in the fatal crash on State Route 34 in Sennett last week.
