Rollover reported in Conquest on Friday

First responders in Cayuga County were called to the scene of a rollover crash in the area of Hard Point Spur and Spring Lake Rd. Sheriff seeks public’s help in Conquest burglary investigation

Pirates Landing Tavern and Restaurant in Conquest is at the center of an ongoing burglary investigation. Investigators say sometime between Thursday and Friday an unknown individual or individuals forcibly entered the Conquest restaurant and stole property from within the building. Cayuga County man pleads guilty to robbing local farms at gunpoint

A Cayuga County man has admitted his involvement in two armed robberies at local farms. Devin Meacham-Wheeler, of Conquest, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of second-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree robbery, all class C felonies. 25-year-old charged with disseminating indecent materials to 12-year-old Cayuga County child

Sheriff David Gould reports that last Thursday, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into an allegation that an adult male from Syracuse had been engaging in inappropriate online contact with a 12-year-old child from Cayuga County.
