Naples man charged with DWI after car crashes down 40 foot embankment

Deputies in Ontario County say a Naples man was uninjured after he crashed his vehicle down a 40 foot embankment on County Road 12. The accident happened on Saturday around 8:42 pm and the driver, identified as John Bruce Rodger, 47, of Naples was found to be intoxicated after crews responded to the scene. A GoFundMe account has been setup for the Naples student who lost her life after complications from the flu virus. Madeline Barton was in the hospital recently with Influenza Encephalitis.
