Local react to blue-green algae bloom at Sandy Bottom Beach

A popular beach in the Finger Lakes has been hit with blue-green algae. Sandy Bottom Beach, on the north end of Honeoye Lake, is closing for the season because of blue-green algae. Two Honeoye residents were arrested in the Town of Richmond by deputies in Ontario County following a traffic stop on Thursday.
