Lansing girls crush Section IV track competition

Lansing nearly doubled the second-place team’s score in winning the Section IV Class C girls track championship Thursday, May 25 in Trumansburg. The Bobcats won with 160 total points. The Union Springs boys and girls track teams clinched division titles Tuesday, as the teams swept Moravia and Southern Cayuga in a tri-meet. Lansing girl sets Section 4 record in pole vault

Lansing’s Emily Gallagher set a Section 4 record in the pole vault Friday during the Bobcats Field Festival at Lansing. She cleared 12 feet, 3 inches. The host Penn Yan girls track and field team picked up a win over visiting Red Creek, Waterloo, Geneva and Dundee in a Wayne-Finger Lakes meet on Tuesday. Victor team to host pancake breakfast fundraiser
