OFFICIALS: Deputy fired, charged with sex abuse in Wayne Co.

Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts reports that one deputy was fired on Tuesday after an internal investigation. Now that former deputy is facing two charges. Deputies in Wayne County say a 24-year-old Seneca Falls man is facing multiple charges after a brief pursuit last week. The Wayne County man arrested after being accused of fatally stabbing another man at a Lyons rooming house last September has been charged with murder.
